The sociolinguistics lunch series is co-organized by the linguistics and anthropology departments at the Graduate Center, CUNY. Each semester, we invite scholars and PhD students to share research related to sociolinguistics, linguistic anthropology, urban education, and to participate in a Q&A session. The talks are held on Fridays from 2:00 pm-3:30 pm (EST). Currently we are operating remotely and most talks are online or hybrid.
